Remodel & Renovation Electrical
Your remodel is the cheapest time to fix the wiring behind your walls.
Drywall is open. Walls are exposed. Cabinets are off. This is the one window — sometimes the only window — to bring an older home's electrical up to current code, add the outlets and switches the original builder skipped, and design lighting that actually matches the way you'll use the room.
Synergy works as the electrical trade on residential remodels of every scale, from kitchen and bath refreshes to whole-home gut renovations. We coordinate with your GC, designer or architect on schedule, scope and finishes — and we leave behind documentation that will help every future contractor in your house.

Three disciplines under one trusted roof.
Lighting Re-Design
Recessed cans, under-cabinet, pendants, scene control — re-designed for how you actually use the kitchen, the bath, the great room.
Outlets & USB
GFCI, AFCI, tamper-resistant, USB-integrated and floor outlets where your furniture actually lands — not where the 1985 electrician guessed.
Code Modernization
Aluminum branch wiring remediation, knob-and-tube removal, grounding upgrades, AFCI/GFCI compliance — done while walls are open.

Kitchen wiring is its own discipline.
Dedicated circuits for the refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, microwave and range, GFCI counter receptacles spaced to code, under-cabinet on a switched circuit, pendant scenes over the island, and the right wire size for an induction range. We do dozens of these a year.

Your panel may need an upgrade you didn't budget for.
Modern remodels add real electrical load — induction ranges, tankless water heaters, EV chargers, mini-splits. We do a load calculation up front and tell you BEFORE rough-in whether the existing panel can carry the project.
We show up when we say. We finish when we promise.
Trade reliability is what makes or breaks a remodel schedule. Synergy is on-site when scheduled, communicates daily progress, raises issues early instead of late, and never strands your GC waiting for a final-trim trip.
A predictable, four-step process.
Design walk
We meet with you and your GC or designer to map every fixture, switch, outlet and circuit before rough-in.
Rough-in
Wiring pulled, boxes set, panel coordinated, inspections scheduled — photographed for your file before drywall.
Trim
Devices installed, fixtures hung, scenes programmed, finals tested.
Closeout
Panel relabeled, walkthrough completed, warranty documented.
A few of the installs we are proud of.
